Baozi is a very popular Chinese food, a daily meal. People can have it for three meals a day since the fillings could be of big variation. The big difference between Baozi and Chinese dumpling Jiaozi is that people usually steam baozi with bamboo steamer while boiling dumplings in hot water. Besides, Baozi is bigger than Jiaozi in size. The fillings of Baozi can be pork or beef mixed with vegetables, or pure vegetables for vegetarian gourmet. We will have both kinds of fillings in this class. So you will find the one that you like.

Wine, beer and apple juice will be provided, but feel free to bring your own drinks.

You can cancel the booked class with a refund up to 4 hour before the class starts. If you cancel the class, please send a message to me, shulingz, through the website.

Fun experience

Posted on 2018-08-06 by Morgan Schaefer

Thank you Shuling for opening up your home and spending time teaching such a fun cooking experience! I brought the leftovers to my husband who was thrilled :) I'm excited to attempt these Chinese dumplings in my own home thanks to your great teaching.

I came from northern China and having lived in the US with my family many years. My father was a very good cook and I was heavily influenced by him in enjoying cooking. Nothing could make me more happy than to see my family and friends enjoy the food I cooked.
