Everybody and their dog has a chili recipe, right? Not like this. It is tasty, nourishing, and healthy. Combine modest amount of lean meat with fresh tomatoes, peppers, corn, celery, onion, and garlic, and other complementary vegetables and seasonings, and you’ll be wanting it every night! We’ll talk about selecting ingredients, how to get from dry beans to beans ready for chili, and we’ll all get to chopping and stewing. Because chili takes a while to reach perfect flavor, I’ll have a batch prepared ahead of time to enjoy with sour cream and cheese.
What I’ll provide: lemonade (please bring your own alternate beverages), chips and salsa, and the chili! There will be leftovers to bring home if you wish.
