About this recipe
I have discovered this recipe during a Wim Hof retreat which both changed my life! These balls must be rather large (up to 5cm) in order to have a full mouth filled up with this treat! The chocolate coat is a must as it adds another texture to the ball and chocolate should almost be compulsory in any dessert or snack! In this recipe, it complements very well the chai spices. You can create a mountain of balls to share with your community and be happy to see them disappearing very quickly! Equipment: blender and mortar, cake tray, silicone mat
Directions
  1. Soak the dates in boiling water for 15 minutes
  2. Melt coconut oil
  3. Roughly chop Almonds
  4. Grind oats to powder
  5. Add all dry ingredients & mix
  6. Blend dates & mix with dry ingredients
  7. Add coconut oil, mix well
  8. Roll into medium size balls
  9. Place in the freezer
  10. Once balls are rolled, mix the coconut oil, honey and chocolate together. If not completely melted, heat it up. Remove the heat. Dip each ball in and place on the baking tray.
  11. Place in the fridge for the chocolate to set hard. Then dip in the chocolate sauce again to make a thicker coat. Place in the fridge to set. You can carry on with the process until reaching the perfect coat or finish the chocolate sauce!
